*Deliver the Hallmark brand promise through enthusiasm, exceptional Customer Service and
outstanding store Standards. Provide the customer with solutions by working proactively with them. As a member of the store team, the Sales Associate will serve as a role model of best practice retail execution. The overall focus is on sales and service at all times.
*Follow all directives and perform in a consistent manner with regard to sales, profitability, customer service, merchandising, and fiscal aptitude. Show ability to change on a regular basis and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
*This position will require a thorough knowledge of Hallmark Gold Crown products, services, systems and store operations.
*The Sales Associate will have access to store cash and product assets and will be held accountable for the same.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school degree is preferred. Experience in retail assignments or other related outside experience. The incumbent have strong verbal selling skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, a strong sense of urgency, the ability to adapt to change and the desire and ability to learn the business. Basic qualifications include eligible to work in the United States, must have reliable transportation, must be at least 16 years of age with appropriate permit as required, and willing to work the day before and after major holidays including evenings and/or weekends. In addition, physical duties involve the ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds; i.e., fixture parts and cartons.
